The "Histo" resort is a beautiful resort down in the "heel of the boot" of Italy. It's about a 3-3.5 hour drive from Naples, although it feels like a whole other world. The resort is settled amidst 70 acres of Olive trees, with views of the water just beyond the trees. The resort itself is modeled after the old basilica next door, so it is luxurious in a modern comfort meets old style architecture type of way. A great escape from Naples, and we were definitely refreshed after our visit there. Oh...and there were little lizards everywhere...it seemed like we were in Palm Springs w/ all the cacti and lizards!
